Sure Pretty is a
beautiful hen and handles just as well!! She is a small hen with a
strong back, silky smooth feathers and is very buoyant in the hand
Sure Pretty has already proven herself; she bred the 5th
place bird in the 2011 Chesapeake Bay Classic. She is very
inbred back to Sure Bet who can be found seven times. Sure
Bet shows up mostly through the pair Steve Mistler made famous -
Sure Clone and Anna (GFL 430 and GFL 412). They sold
on iPigeon for a combined $40,000 plus. Sure Pretty also has
a touch of my favorite Creator blood with Diamond Maker
being a maternal great granddame.
Sure Pretty was
actually sired by a cock I bred, Joe's Bet. He actually went
to Ron Deisher's in a split mating we had and was later sold. I then
saw Sure Pretty on auction and picked her up because of the
430 x 412 pair blood in her background.

- Deisher 07-299 is a
linebred great grandson of Sure Bet. His sire First Bet,
was my first Sure Bet bird and is out of Steve Mistler's hit
pair Sure Clone and Anna. This puts Sure Bet
behind Joe's Bet three times. He is also half brother to
Turned Luck's Bet 699 and
Crippled Cock; all three sharing First Bet as their sire.
On the maternal side, Joe's Bet
traces back to Super Crack 699, Sure Bet's grandsire
and also to Sure Bet's dam Money Maker.

"754", Mistler 08-754 is a super inbred granddaughter
of Sure Bet. He is actually in her pedigree four times,
because "754's" paternal grandparents are Steve
Mistler's hit pair Sure Clone and Anna. They are half
brother/sister mating out of Sure Bet. Anna is
actually an inbred daughter of Sure Bet, as her dam is also a
Sure Bet daughter, the famous Snow Queen.
"754's" maternal granddam
is one of my favorite Creator family hens, Diamond Maker.
She is a daughter of Creator and the mother of National Ace
YB All Holland Diamond Ring. Diamond Maker is behind
many of Turned Luck's Creator
family.
