One Loft Races

My One Loft experience is limited as is my entire Racing experience. I have inquired with many other breeders and have narrowed it down to these races that I may try. Due to starting a new business this year, I had to really budget my funds and decided to spend it on the stock loft and wait until 2009 to race.

I did however manage to get a four bird entry to the 2008 Buckeye Challenge, managed by Dustin Baker. It was tough throughout and losses were high but I managed to get three of four birds to the 130 mile warm up race scoring 4th/e1st with 47811. My first race - my first bird in the money.....

It gets even better!! 47807 finished 3rd on the 250 mile feature race. It was a total smash with only five birds clocking; NONE on the day and only 4 of those on Sunday, the fifth coming in on Monday. The race was closed on Tuesday with 47811, who also finished 4th/e1st on the 130 coming in on the seventh day for an unofficial 6th place. Turned Luck Loft was the only loft with multiple birds returning.

More to be added later.......
