Lucky Prince is the bird that got all of this
started. If you read my story on the About Us page, you will
know what I mean. Basically I had no intentions of racing and saw
Lucky Prince on auction and could not resist his athletic look.
I had always wanted to race since childhood and I guess he was the
bird that pushed me over the edge.
Lucky Prince was not
a disappointment when he arrived. He has a wide athletic build and
is full of supple muscle, just like his grandsire, Hollywood.
As a bonus I discovered that he is carrying the recessive red gene.
I know color doesn't matter in performance, but recessive red has
always been a favorite color. I believe this comes from his inbred
Breeder's Best blood.
Sire: Hollywood's Boy,
GFL 04 563 is an inbred direct son of Holland National Ace
Hollywood when mated to his own inbred daughter Hollywood's
Lady. Hollywood's Lady is an inbred also, a product of
Hollywood and his mother Breeder's Best. Super inbred for
stock.
Dam: Europa's Dream,
GFL 05 1153 is a direct daughter of Europa Star, who was the
1st Ace Pigeon of the biggest one loft race in England, the "Europa
Classic". This was a 6 race series with 850 birds representing 9
countries. Europa Star won a car and over $20,000.
Europa's Dream is
also the maternal granddaughter of Topo and Picanol.
