This pair brings together the generations before and after
the 2004 1st National Ace Youngster WHZB Holland Diamond
Ring, creating linebred youngsters bred
around National Ace Pigeon genetics. Ron's hen Princess
Cut is a direct daughter of Diamond Ring when she
was mated to the 2nd National Ace Youngster of the same
year, Blue Steel. That is 1st National Ace and 2nd
National Ace of the same year brought together in one
pairing - can you say phenomenal !!! That is the "after"
generation.
The "before" generation is my cock Doubloon. His sire
Treasure Chest is the grandsire to Diamond Ring.
Treasure Chest was no slouch himself in the air; he
was 5th Etampes against 5,375 birds at 280 miles. His son
and sire to Diamond Ring, Goode Yearling, was
17th National Orleans versus 13,113 birds. Again winning
genes producing winning genes. Treasure Chest is
the son of De Super 718 who also raced well being 4th
from Creil versus 4,679 and 12th from Chantilly versus
5,615.
Doubloon's mother, Diamond Maker, is also the
dam of Diamond Ring, making him the half brother to
the 2004 National Ace Youngster. Diamond Maker is a direct
daughter of Wout's golden couple, De Strakke and Dora, known at GFL as Creator and Lady.
Diamond Ring is unquestionably one of the best
performance birds that Wout Spierings ever bred, winning 1st
National Ace Young Bird All Holland WHZB in 2004! She was
also awarded - 1st Golden Crack Long Distance - 1st Middle
Distance - 1st Brabant 2000 Middle Distance. She was 1st in
8 different All Holland categories of all distances as a
youngster. She raced 13 races as a youngster and finished in
the top prizes all 13 times.
Turned Luck will
be keeping several youngsters from this mating to further the project
as well as add to the Diamond Ring genes we have acquired
from the Creator family !!
