Ron Deisher and I are working on another project together. We want to
preserve a family of birds
centered around one of the greatest breeding males and families ever imported
by Mike Ganus and Ganus Family Loft. The Creator family is the
family I am referring to.
I know this statement has been made several times over the years
but it should be mentioned that we are speaking of the entire
family before and after Creator. They have won at all
distances - from 100 miles out to 450 miles as a youngster and
up to 550 miles as yearlings - and have won consistently for years producing many Ace
Pigeons. Their success was really their demise in the end.
The Wout Spierings Creator family was totally
dispersed recently at auction due to the politics of racing in
Holland, so we are hoping to preserve the family lines in the
same fashion as Wout would have - line breeding, inbreeding and
selecting on performance only.
Ron started this venture with Jim Sears, Steve Royer and Harold
Lamons; I joined the Syndicate recently by helping Ron acquire Princess
Cut with the idea of having her mated to Doubloon. Selfish
I know, but WOW what foundation breeding potential in this
mating based around the genes of 2004 National Ace young
Bird Diamond Ring!!!! Check it out as

As you can see from the
photo above, this project was started with a magnificent
pairing. Midas, Ron's #1 Creator family male mated
to Steve Royer's newly imported hen, Lady Bird. Midas is a direct son of Blues Le Mans
when he was mated to Creator's mother, Dawn of
Creation; making Midas a half brother to Creator
himself.
Steve acquired Lady Bird in Wout's complete sellout auction
held on PIPA. Lady Bird is out of a full brother to Blues
Le Mans and a direct daughter of The Natural aka
Remie; one of the
founding males of the Creator family. Lady Bird's
grandsire and the sire of Blues Le Mans is De Kanjer,
1st National Ace all Holland 2002 and again a Creator
son.
This pairing highlights
the best of Blues Le Mans, who is unquestionably one of
the best performance birds that Wout Spierings ever bred,
winning against huge numbers of birds!! Blues Le Mans
flew in the biggest old bird race in the history of Holland in
2005. 350 miles from the Le Mans race station with the entire
country participating. He finished 1st Region against 12,884
birds and 5th National Le Mans against an astounding 99,104 birds.
Blues Le Mans' father, De Kanjer is also an
exceptional racer being being the 2002 1st National Ace
Youngster WHZB All Holland.
Youngsters bred from this mating will be line
bred to Blues Le Mans and very useful in the breeding
program of anyone that is concentrating on the Creator
family. A super opportunity!!!
Turned Luck has
a super foundation of birds from the Creator family and
will certainly add one from this mating to compliment the other
Midas youngsters we have.
