Cooper is so named in memory of his father, Doubloon. Sadly, Doubloon was lost to a Cooper's Hawk that crashed through a glass window of my loft. The hawk reached down through the wire top of an individual breeding pen and pulled Doubloon right off of the nest that he wouldn't leave. I know this because the eggs Doubloon was sitting were crushed on his breast when I found him. He never left his eggs in an attempt to save himself. That is the kind of devotion to home and nest I want to pass on.

Cooper is a son of Doubloon and Princess Cut. He is a very calm, observant bird in the loft. He is just slightly shorter cast than most Creator birds but has the characteristic full of buoyant muscled body and handles super!! Combined with a whip, single pin tail, strong back and good vents. He has the makings of National Aces behind him; Diamond Ring and her mother and grandfather. A true foundation breeder in the making.

Sire: Doubloon, GFL 08-966 is a line-bred half brother to 1st National Ace Young Bird WHZB of All Holland, Diamond Ring! He is a son of her grandfather, Treasure Chest mated to her mother, Diamond Maker. Doubloon is a beautiful blue male with rich red eyes that have a thin pearl ring around the pupils. He is a strong perfect bodied male, medium in size with a tight one pin tail.

Dam: Princess Cut, GFL 06-600 is a direct daughter of Diamond Ring, 1st National Ace WHZB All Holland, when she was mated to the 2nd National Ace Youngster of the same year, Blue Steel. That is 1st National Ace and 2nd National Ace of the same year brought together in one pairing - can you say phenomenal !!!

Diamond Ring, a Creator granddaughter, "the hen that was ringing bells in fanciers heads all over Europe!" She raced 13 races in a row, winning 13 top prizes. There are over 1 million pigeons raced every week in Holland, going in every direction to villages and lofts that look almost the same; just imagine how good a pigeon has to be to win week after week.
