As mentioned, Ron Deisher and I started to work on a
little project together. We wanted to build a family of birds
centered around one of the greatest German National Aces ever
flown; none other than the famous Black Widow!!

Now joining us in this venture is Harold Lamons from Eagle lake
Lofts.
Ron and Harold are
continuing the founding of this family of birds with Ron's
Jet Black mated to Harold's Black Eagle. Jet Black
is a direct son of Aviator and Black Widow making
him a full brother to Turned Luck's Stewardess.
Black Eagle is a direct daughter of Black Stallion
and Black Widow, what a magnificent combination. This is
an uncle/niece mating, as Black Stallion is a full
brother to Black Widow's father. This also makes Black
Eagle a full sister to Turned Luck's very own
Black Powder. This mating is a flip flop of WCI making all
the youngsters first cousins. Perfect for continuing the
line-breeding of a family.
What a perfect mating;
Jet Black is full bodied, but yet extremely buoyant,
looks big, but is just a medium sized male. Black Eagle
is small to medium in size, perfect in the hand and extremely
strong through the back. Together they are truly a foundation
pair and just another step in our creation of the Widow's
Connection.
As with the first pairing of this project, our intent
is to share a few of these with all interested in propagating
the Black Widow Family. The ones we breed for ourselves
will be used to further develop the family. This is a longer
term project and we are looking for flyers interested in having
a part of this family and going on this journey with us.
Turned Luck will
add a youngster or two from this mating to further the project
and bring the black color back to the family !!
